Next to Gundua Secondary School is Ex-Lewa Primary School, a school in much worse condition. Most of the primary school children will continue their education at Gundua Secondary School. Because of the poor condition of Ex-Lewa Primary School, a collaboration has been started between the schools. A contract has been signed that allows Ex-Lewa Primary School to be included in Gundua once all the necessary government permits are in place. This means the Foundation will also be able to work with the primary school. The plan is to renovate its premises and equipment to improve the level of schooling. Gundua will share its dining hall with the primary school, which will ensure that the poorest children get at least one good meal a day.

The head teachers, Martin and Franco, are looking forward to working together and learning from each other.
