Drilling has been intense on the school grounds during the spring to reach down to a depth with enough flowing water. Water was found already at about 150 m and water spurted up out of the drilling hole.
After testing the water quality and that the flow of water was stable, a steel jacket was mounted on the hole to seal the surface until the next phase; draw lines and pumps. That’s where we stand at the moment. Kenyan bureaucracy has made this into a project that keeps testing our patience… But soon enough it will all fall into place.
