Using a simplified drip irrigation system that is highly efficient in utilising available water, we have initiated a school kitchen garden.

The garden is expected to 1) provide essential vegetables to the school feeding regime. 2) act as a demonstration on how best to utilise scarce water while producing food. 3) act as a learning plot for students undertaking agriculture as an examinable subject.

We have just started and will progressively up-scale this.
